Lips

Hello!

As I've noticed, I'm not listed as a contributor to this blog anymore (actually, most people who ever were are not anymore, oh well) but I haven't been officially removed from the contributors yet, so I might as well publish my new art while I still can, no?

Anyway, most of the current audience, if there's any left, is probably clueless about who I even am, so let me just state a couple of facts; back in the heyday of this blog, I used to be known on Stardoll as Princess_Kiara1, but my real name is Nika Pokerznik and I've been designing Stardoll graphics/digital art since 2009. I pretty much abandoned Stardoll and designing Stardoll based graphics due to being busy with school, but I still run my own blog Nika's Graphics and am willing to take on graphic requests again as of summer 2016.

Yesterday I was bored, looking through my drawings, and decided upon digitally "remastering" the lips of one of my more recent drawings. Let me just state that everything was done from scratch, to avoid any confusion for example who do the lips belong to. They're fictional and any resemblance is purely coincidental. During my two year long absence I've been working on making art completely from scratch, as working with reference pics just doesn't seem to cut it for me anymore.

So this is what I made:

I also found this graphic of lips I made in December 2014, and I guess you could call it an improvement? I believe I really did get better at art from scratch.

If I, by any chance, don't get removed from contributors, I will try to continue to post my recent work.

What do you think about the lips though? I'm eager to hear your opinions!

Soooo I did something...

...I finished the graphic that I posted a day or so ago. 

I feel as if the graphic has a message, but it's not necessarily a positive one, like, you know what i mean? idk.

Feedback would be dearly appreciated. If anything about this graphic offends you, besides the fact that it's not very Stardoll-friendly (lol), just don't look at it, simple as that.

And once again, as mentioned in my previous post, if you wanna model for any of my upcoming graphics (free), leave a comment with your username on either this or my previous post. Or just contact me on Stardoll.

Update: I'm planning on making maybe a few more graphics during the remainder of my summer break, and I decided to give y'all a chance to have your doll's face featured in one of them. For free.

All you have to do is either post your username in a comment, or contact me directly on Stardoll (Princess_Kiara1), also let me know if you've got a problem with your doll's skin being (excessively) exposed, or if any type of drug-ish themes (nothing hardcore tho) offend you, because if that's the case, I'll spare your doll for a more "casual" graphic, that is if I decide to use your face, ofc. But just let me know if there's any type of problem with any type of subject whatsoever, because I'm really not looking forward to offending anyone in any way. Or do I?

Is that how you use caps in an English title? Yes? No? Whatever?

Anyways here's a little something, and don't let the fact that there's a middle finger thrown up in the air, prevent you from looking at the graphic as a whole...because that seems to happen a lot.

This one certainly isn't finished, there's like a hell of an amount of tattoos left to be drawn, but guess what, I'm a very lazy human being, so this shall do for now.

Just to point it out, I KNOW one arm seems much thinner than the other, but I guess it's just the pose? Because I swear to satan that's exactly how it was on the reference photo, but I guess after not putting much effort into graphics for 2 years in a row my shading game got weak, and shading everything completely off of scratch might not have been the best idea yet, or maybe it's just the fact that I kinda didn't care about the shading there since both arms were supposed to be heavily covered in tattoos. 

However, I was thinking about fixing it for the purpose of publishing it on here but guess how lazy I am? Lazy enough to have left it the way it was. Ha.
Somebody knock some motivation in me.

so i cba with capitalizations and stuff atm so i thought i should simply ask you whether you like what you see so far or not. i just see no point in finishing it, but i might do it if you'll express some positive thoughts towards what you're seeing right now unf

while the sweater and everything invisible yet might be unfinished as fuck, the legs, shoes, socks and the bit of skirt there are pretty much done, although i might add some overlapping shadows here and there but basically that's it.

New start!

Hey everyone here at TGV, I'm sorry for using this blog for promotional purposes (lol) but doesn't everyone do that once in a while? Anyways, some of you might have noticed that my graphic blog, Nika's Graphics, has been closed down for a while. Well guess what, it has made it's return, kind of. I've started a new blog, which has more of a wider focus, not just strictly graphics, and it's called Moodwrecked. A pretty odd title but hey, isn't odd the new cool? Like seriously, lol. So basically yeah, I started the blog, made a quick header (for which I used & edited a part of the graphic I'm currently working on), and now I'm here, at TGV, begging for followers. If you've liked my past blog, you'll most likely find yourself interested in this one as well. I've already exported all my past posts and comments into Moodwrecked, now all I need is an audience to motivate myself, lol. The reason behind the closure of Nika's Graphics, and more info regarding the new blog, can be found here. So please follow, and don't be too harsh to the sloppy header, like I said it's just a temporary, quick one, and same goes for the layout, there's seriously sooo much more to be done. Sneak Peek?

I would feel guilty if I didn't make a new post, after (finally) being added back to The Vault. I'd like to thank Ceaara for giving me another chance, after Kirsten urged to remove a bunch of writers back in mid November.
However, it's nothing major (not yet), just a 1000% zoomed sneak peek of my new graphic. Which is going to be fully revealed on the 21st/22nd of December (End of the World - after party anyone?).

You can guess who's the model, but I'm 99% sure no one's gonna get it right anyways. ;-)

vacation graphic!

I made this graphic when I was still on vacation, in case the title didn't make much sense to you... I know that the shading technique on her face differs from the body one, I just thought her face looked super odd with any darker shading.

I changed the face a bit so it looks like there are faces of two different singers blended together, can you guess who? lol

And yes, gotta love gradient backgrounds.

Marina and the Diamonds graphic FINISHED!

On the rainy 21st day of July 2012, Nika decided to finish her Marina and the Diamonds graphic...

And guess what, I actually did it, which doesn't occur often, but it did today. Okay that made no sense...Anyways, here's the graphic:  

The hair looked odd near the bottom of the graphic, and the tip of the nose was a bit flat, so I felt like cropping away the bottom half of the graphic was an amazing thing to do. lol

However....what do you think?

Digital art? UNFINISHED

As you can probably tell, this isn't a Stardoll graphic, it's more like a piece of digital art, and it's not even halfway done yet. You can see the nose is still missing, there's no shading done on her face, lips, there's no hair yet and only one eye is somewhat fully done. Everything is hand drawn aka no Lasso Tool or Bucket Fill Tool was used. I used a reference photo which I won't publish, it's too easy to find anyways, lol. 

Some of you might know who the woman on the graphic is, some of you might not, but she's definitely one of the most perfect women alive, plus she's been my favorite singer for a somewhat long period of time...

.

The graphic should be finished somewhere around June 20th or later, it really depends on my mood lol


But anyways...what do y'all think?

my latest graphic

Hello!

You may not remember me due to my absence here, and I'm reaaaaaally sorry for not posting anything at all. I was kind of busy with school and I didn't make any graphics anyways, so yeah. But hey, here I am now.

So if you're a follower of my blog, you may be aware of the fact that my tablet is broken, and it might take me quite a while to get a new one or whatever I'm going to do. So I've attempted to make a graphic with my mouse, which I've lastly done more than half a year ago, and here's the "result" or however you'd like to call it:

To be honest, I love the shorts, and I think the shoes turned out pretty good, but I'm not quite sure about everything else...
And yes, I know how odd the leg on the right looks, it wouldn't look as heavy if I was able to blend it. And I'm everything but a fan of the most basic leg shading, and I prefer that heavy leg over pretty much any totally basically shaded leg lol. 

I'd greatly appreciate every comment and any kinda criticism.

FEMME Summer 2012 Spoiler

Hi, sorry for being absent from this blog. This is what I was working on;

The graphic is gonna be used for the FEMME Summer 2012 spoiler. It's not completely done yet, there's still text being added and stuff. 

It took me about two days to finish this piece, which doesn't mean that I was working on it 24/7, lol. And I'm aware of the sand on/around/between her fingers looking crappy.
