A LITTLE LV

i know that i've been pretty much spamming the blog lately, but im currently updating my portfolio which means i need to be bulldozing through graphics at an exceptional rate

for a while i have wanted to do a piece of one of my favourite models, miss lindsey wixson! to me she is just so gorgeous and unique, i'm in love

without further ado, here is my first graphic of her

im pretty sure this image is from a vogue shoot, but i am not 100%

lindsey wears louis vuitton coat and pants, which were a pain in the ass too do! especially the flowers

i LOVE the face, probably the thing i love the most. im not a fan of how the shoes turned out, but granted they were difficult.

as a whole, this graphic was definitely one of the most challenging ones that i have ever actually completed. but i really love it (and yes, this is the hair that i posted yesterday)

HAIR

(i just realised how strange this looks without the rest of the graphic, so if you're ticking "it's okay" because of the angle/shape of the hair, you're an idiot)

basically, all of you who pay attention to my hair are probably aware that i SUCK at it, and i still to this day dont know why

BUT

upon starting a new graphic today, a miracle occurred

i advise you click on this image to make it bigger 

now i know that it's still not incredibly amazing, but in my opinion it is a massive step up from my past attempts.

i just wanted to share this with you all as i felt it was somewhat of a milestone!

TEENAGERS FROM MARS

i am certain that you have all been watching fashion week like hawks, and if you have, you will have seen the fabulous jeremy scott spring '14 collection (if not, i suggest you check it out right now)

i am a huge fan of jeremy scott, i have always admired his collections and his out of the box ideas. one piece from the ss14 collection really stood out to me, it was a one piece with the "tv bars" printed onto it; so naturally, i just had to make a graphic of it

ugh, perfect

i actually love this graphic, i think it's one of my best pieces in a while. i've been working with new, more elaborate techniques, but tried not to shy too far away from my shading style.

my favourite thing has to be the clavicle and the legs, i think they look amazing. i'm not too fond of the face, but i dont know why.

i'm back!!

i was recently away visiting family but now i've returned with exciting news!; the next collection of x apparel has begun production!

one thing that bugged me about the previous collection is how small i had to make the pieces to fit on the mannequins i used, because they were also quite small. so, i decided to design my own mannequin

it's nothing special but i felt like it was necessary for me to make my own mannequins this time, i also wanted something bigger hence why this bitch is almost 2000px tall

in the planning stages of any x issue, i change my mind so many times on what or who i want in there

i made this graphic a while ago but realised i no longer need it, so enjoy

the outfit is from quite an early jeremy scott collection

i really like how some parts of the coat came out, it was a very weird material to do. i think the boots look quite good too

surprise surprise i'm already working on the next issue of x. this issue is going to be very different, it's going to revolutionize the stardoll media scene and leave you dripping

it is of course the incredible natalia kills.
i really love the face , specifically the eyes, and i think the hair and fur aren't that bad compared to my previous attempts

i always find myself falling into a void of boredom after x, it's like i have nothing to do, so i just make random graphics

i recently made this blue dress

what really annoys me is that my doll will NEVER be able to wear this, because stardoll spends their whole time (quite literally) scribbling crappy outfits and expecting us to buy them.

it seems stardoll designers, like all of us, can mess things up sometimes and along with transforming chanel items into dolly items, it's a recipe for disaster

chanel is an awful brand. it's very overrated and definitely needs to stop overshadowing MUCH better brands

anywhom, i decided to remake a tube top from the recent chanel tribute store!

left is mine, right is stardoll's/chanel's

LANA DEL VACATION

stardoll was recently cursed with my absence due to me attending a glorious night seeing lana del rey in concert. she was fucking flawless, and there are no words to describe the things i felt that night; it was incredible

but anyway im back now, and i wanted to pay respect to that wonderful night by doing what i do best and making a graphic

i found the reference for this in my exceptionally large lana archive, it's quite an old photo from around last year i think. i can't remember where/when it was taken. in the original photo she does have lighter hair, but i prefer her look with darker hair so i edited it slightly. and speaking of hair, this do took me HOURS to get right, and i'm still not 100% happy

editorial epiphany

yesterday i decided i was going to begin collecting jeremy scott inspired items on stardoll, using my already quite large collection as a starting point.

today i was expanding my collection when i suddenly remembered making this graphic

it's a few weeks if not months old

i REALLY like the shoes and the hands, and the hair isn't all that bad either

i was originally going to use this for x, but i no longer need it for the issue

i finally started work on the summer issue of x! im still toying with themes and concepts but a lot of the foundations for this issue are being laid
