Blog Update - New Banner

*Khol kindly offered to make a new blog layout as it's spring now, so thankyou Khol very much! It looks amazing!

*I also added a link to follow TGV over at Bloglovin' as Google Reader is closing down some time in June. Before I start, I would like to say a big THANKYOU to all the writers here on this blog, you are the reason for TGV successes.  I wont close this blog down, but I also don't want to hire another person to help me just yet in case they cause unforeseen problems like the last time.

Old Unreleased graphic

I made this at the end of the summer holidays along with two others as a request for a magazine, but I think the magazine isnt going to happen anymore, may aswell show you! There were two others, but looking at them now, I feel it's not my best work :/

I'm not sure who the model is though, she's beautiful! The hair is short and spiky cause thats how the magazine owner wanted it.

P.S. I might make this a weekly thing. Promoting graphic blogs that deserve more recognition feels like the right thing to do!

Is that a Tyra Look-a-like?

I made this a while ago in the holidays, but it needed a few touches, it was supposed to be the new vault banner, but maybe i'll leave it now until January or after..?

My reference picture was not Tyra Banks, but it certainly does look like her! I wanted to do a non-stardoll graphic as they are pretty dull at times. The hair looks okay I guess, but I love the face and make-up

I was originally going to choose 4, but them i noticed different kinds of graphics I had rarely seen before...by Mgirl07. Her graphics aren't the best in the world, but she seems to take a chance and have different ideas. For example, she has recreated her own face in a graphic which I'm impressed by because I wouldnt have even thought of it!

So 5 of you contact me through gb or whatever and send me your email dresses!

It's only just started, but has reviewed 3 designers already, and in great detail and accuracy! The writer as anonymous, which is okay I guess as they seem to know their stuff!

Blog update

Update 1: There is a new media partners blogroll at the side bar, all inactive blogs have been removed as there really is no point in keeping them there.

Update 2: You can now sign up to write for this blog in the tab above called 'Join us'! I just need to figure out how to enable comments on there, any ideas?

Update 3: I'm considering to remove the 'Needs more work' button, because i feel that people are just pressing it to annoy us when they don't give any useful feedback, am i correct?

Obscure Magazine Summer 2012

   

Very long time, no post

Hevathebleva requested a graphic, so here it is!

Looking at the skirt, my technique has changed a bit since I last posted, the only thing I don't like is the hand, as I couldn't get it right, usually i'm good at hands, but oh well.

Any opinions?

P.S I also have a surprise for this blog in a few weeks time!
