Old unreleashed graphics

It's been very long since the last time I made a post, let alone make a graphic or log into stardoll. I am no longer active or am planning to be but I still have some unreleashed unfinished work from Escape Magazine, which no longer exists...So here it is:

(Please do note; all of the above graphics are about 2 years old)

My journey on "The Graphics Project"

This is my first entry. I think that it's actually the best one I gave in and really helped me step strong into the competition. I honestly think that it is one of my best graphics up to this day and shows that I put a great amount of effort into it. The snakeskin was quite challenging but it added to the 'wow' factor I wanted this image to have. I only received negative feedback for the rather small hand and awkward clavicle.

My second entry received very positive feedback and I was also given really helpful tips, especialy from Kirsten, on how I should have diversity in my shading depending on the item I am drawing. I am very fond of the hand and detailed nails. However, the face lacks shading and the hair is quite messy.

For task 3, we had to portray a certain artist and I was given Lana Del Rey along with a group of other contestants. To my opinion I did capture her vibe quite well but unfortunately the judges did not agree with me on that and I also did not receive the best feedback because of many little errors on my work. I am very proud of the hair and background though.

Task 4 was very demanding, as expected, since it was about time for all contestants to show if they were capable of shading all sorts of garments and deal with more complex graphics. Surprisingly to my expectations, I did quite well and managed to save myself from elimination. I am quite proud of this graphic as I was never able to draw leather or fur before.

This was the final task for me. Task 5 was to make a header for the legendary 'Haus of X'. The announcement of the results of this task was a moment I honestly feared as I was well aware of how bad my entry was compared not only to what wonderful artworks the other contestants were going to present but also to my previous entries. Having very limited time to work on due to schoolwork I only managed to give in this very weak graphic. The only part I like from it is the hair.

What do you think of my journey on TGP?

Unfinished//Unpublished

I started this graphic 2 months ago but due to many reasons I never finished it. I was planning on using it as a spoiler for Escape so I decided to finish it this morning but a minute after I opened the file on Photoshop I realised that I didn't feel as excited about it as I was when I started it, which was of course expected given the 2 month gap...

What do you think about what has been done so far?

Some unpublished work

First of all, I would like to apologise for my absense. I haven't posted something here in ages and that is due to many reasons. Some of my graphics are either meant to be kept a secret until the release of Escape Magazine and others were just thrown straight to the bin. But I have two pieces of my work here worth showcasing:

A request graphic featuring justicelover94

My entry for SNTGD task 3, which of course never got to be published as the competition was cut short before even the semi-finals.

All opinions and constructive critism are welcome!

Guess who

I made this today in a very short time and I love it (yeah, except from the flat nose...) ! Can you guess who it is?

//Unfinished//

Long time, no post huh? Well, as some of you know I've been very busy with Escape Magazine. I've left a lot of graphics on hold and others I just scrapped. Here are two unfinished graphics that I don't plan on finishing soon:

Not a great fan of the first one. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it look better when I get back to it. As for the second I'm very happy with what's been done. I'm definately going to to get back to it after Escape is releashed!

What do you think?

23.8.13

Which one?

I'm working on a very important piece right now and I need your opinion. Which version of the hand is better? Crisp or Smooth?

For Crisp (first image) tick 'Amazing'
For Smooth (second image) tick 'Not my style'

It only takes a few seconds but it will really help me so please tick a box to let me know.

27.7.13

Minimalism

Just two of the graphics, the cover and an unfinished one, that were meant to be a part of Escape's summer issue. For the reasons stated here XXX I will skip the summer issue and go on with the Fall Issue. What do you think about the graphics above?

Ps.: There were more graphics -of course- but I've decided not to publish them.
Ps.1: I am aware of the horrifying shading on Jack's black dress.

It's so good being bad

The panties are transparent/sheer. In this graphic I tried to practise all my weaknesses: skin, hair and fur (which I've never drawn before). I think it turned out pretty good but the right hand is kinda off idk

Depth

model: cooldeer123

I really like this but idk what the hell is going on with the chest?! I did it 3 times and I'm still not satisfied... I also think that this time there's more depth and I'm closer to making the 3D effect.

p.s.: The flower crown is LE and not made by me.

2.6.13

Skin

This is a practise graphic to improve my skin shading technique as in my last post the only feedback I got was about how the skin was shaded odd. Of course, everyone who said so was right and I was glad they did tell me because they helped me see what I couldn't on my own. So, thank you!

I really like this. It is also shaded exactly as in the reference photo. What do you think?

Risque Magazine

A new magazine callled Risque releashed its debut issue today. The magazine is owned by hilmy and you can visit it here. Feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think!

Also, here are the graphics I made for the magazine:

Like who is that chick?

Long time, no see! I mean do you even remember I contribute to this blog? I haven't posted in such a long time, you'd say I stopped making graphics. However, I haven't. I've been very busy with finals and preparing the summer issue of Escape Magazine and only yesterday I found some spare time to draw something I could actually post here. I made my friend BestDamnFreak a banner for his new blog

Alexander Wang

I just finished making those alexander wang sandals. They'll be featured on Escape as well.

2.5.13

Fiji

I really like how this turned out! It was quite difficult drawing it myself but it sure looks better then lowering the opacity of a similar image to do the print. It's going to be worn by one of the models on Escape so I won't publish the finished graphic, you'll have to wait until June ;)

Get your tan

This is the first spoiler for Escape's summer issue that will probably be releashed in the first days of June. The model is kirsten/sparklewand12:

This is the original version, to see the actual spoiler click HERE

And here's my latest obsession:

14.4.13

Escape trash

Those graphics were just ew
Thank god my technique has improved a little

I'm sorry for not posting but the current graphics I'm working on are for magazines so they're top secret ;)
