Just two of the graphics, the cover and an unfinished one, that were meant to be a part of Escape's summer issue. For the reasons stated here XXX I will skip the summer issue and go on with the Fall Issue. What do you think about the graphics above?
Ps.: There were more graphics -of course- but I've decided not to publish them.
Ps.1: I am aware of the horrifying shading on Jack's black dress.
I think these resemble your first issue way too much. Your shading is very minimal, and I think you need to play around with darker opacities. I also don't like the outfits because they are just so boring being plain white and black. No offense, but it seems like all your dresses are either white or black... colors are beautiful:) However, the shoes are super cute in the first image!

DeleteI like your graphic and I'm not going to go too into a review, but I just wanted to say that Jack's arm that is bending around Khol is way too long. The arms on the second graphic are a bit too long as well, compared to the legs. I'd think a bit about brushing up on proportions.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the first image but it was so in the reference and when I actually noticed it there was no way of correcting it. As for the second graphics, it's not a mistake in propotions. It's the models pose; they're supposed to be leaning their upper body forward having the shoulders a bit relaxed.
DeleteI wish you could've added a pattern on the dress or added jewelery so it wont look plain. Also I wish that you made your own background for the cover.
