I'm really offended by this graphic...I do not believe in the christian religion, and to be honest i think religion and stardoll should be separated. With that said, I felt really uncomfortable looking at this.

Hopefully you aren't offended, I just felt like voicing my opinion religion + stardoll.

    2. dei is right, putting people on crosses was a common form of torture for criminals back in that age. in fact, if you read the part of the bible where jesus is walking up the hill, it says how there's already other people on crosses. i obviously didn't intend to make this in an offensive manor and there was no need to for you to be offended. if you feel uncomfortable looking at this, then just simply don't look at it, although it's no big deal, it's just some bitch tied to some wood. next time you feel like voicing your opinion, do it somewhere thats not in the comments of my graphic :)))))))

I wasn't trying to offend you, like I said. I just have a certain tendency to rant about useless things. I think its just because I don't believe in Christianity (and some portions of it to me - in my opinion - is knavish and in general shady). Like Helen said (below), I think its nice to create something with a mix of your believes, and the cross is something that I do not. And also, as I was raised with Jewish heritage, we do not read or believe in the bible, so I wouldn't know what you said. Thus, being Jewish, we do not believe in Jesus.

I feel like I should be allowed to voice my opinion - whether on this post or not - and either have people criticize my beliefs, or take it into consideration. I think it's safe to say I'm sick of the religious aspect on stardoll, and in the fashion world.

      And, end of rant.

It isn't your graphic though?... Why would Jack be thinking of your beliefs when making a graphic to do with a religion? You sort of make it sound like you want him to make a graphic to do with Judaism instead of a cross, because you aren't Christian. :^)

    6. I feel like this comment was completely unnecessary. While I believe(as most do) that religion is a touchy subject and it's typically better to not discuss it, Jack's graphic was in no way offensive. I'm not a Christian either, I'm actually an Atheist, but I was not offended by this graphic.

I feel like your comment was saying "I disagree with your religion, so anything you say or do will be offensive to me." I can understand if Jack created a graphic that desecrated symbols of your belief, but he didn't. I'm having a hard time understand how this was at all offensive to you.

  4. Tbh I absolutely disagree with Lindsay (although I respect her opinion and understand that she feels uncomfortable). I believe that art is to make people uncomfortable, to let their jaws drop. Either in awe or anger.

I love how you dare mix religion to that and replace Jesus with just a doll. I am a christian and I do not fnd this offending at all. Many artists find mixing their religion to their art fascinating and inspirational.

Now concerning the graphic, I really like it but I believe that you wisely chose to do another task. I don't love the skin shading. I find it too dark. But I love the hair!

thank you! i wasn't too fond of the skin shading either, but i also like the hair!

  5. This isn't even contreversial. It's just a girl tied to wood like you said. She's not even fully crucified anyway (put some nails in those hands and feet and I'll be super happy)
