Last Request

So although I've closed requests, I'm just catching up with ones I hadn't done yet, this was for a blog header, but I've decided to just post the pose here :)

You can see the full size image by clicking on it :)

  1. great job! the dress looks great! u've improved heaps! i just think the shading should be a little softer on the edges, cuz in real life, shadows aren't as hard but otherwise fantastic job!

I mean, I'm not the one to give lessons or talk shit...but god, your shading looks awfully crappy and unrealistic at some points! There's like barely any dimension in your graphics, all I see is shapes, filled with a specific color, then I see "folds" in clothes and probably some more detail, and the last and to me personally most disturbing thing - your shading. I mean c'mon, if you're a graphic artist you shouldn't be lazy and keep down to a single layer of shadows and highlights, there's so much more to do! But wait, you're not even an artist, you're just a try - hard wannabe graphic designer.
For the start, try making like 3 layers of shadows and two of highlights and the difference should be fucking impressive, if you know what you're doing ofcourse. Your graphics look like everything you do was taught to you, like you have no idea what you're doing, but you keep on doing it because it's the latest rage to be a graphic designer.
My rant ends right here, just work on your dimension skills, girl.

  4. Do you make the poses yourself or do you take them form real-life pictures, if so where do you find them?
