Someday Summer

Oh look, haven't heard from that Lindsey-Girl for a while...
And now, you have. Hey guys, so I'm somewhat back. Of course, I'm not going to be regular until I get my laptop fixed (or get a new one), so don't expect too much from me. However, that's destined a change this Spring. So our house is almost about ready for move-in (the finale is scheduled for Mid-March, so very soon), and I'll have easier access to technology and whatnot.

Aside from the point, though. As you can see, I've been working on something. I'm sure those who've paid attention to a recent interview of mine, I'm working on a graphic for Stardoll's Appearance. Which, if I'm quite frank, just gave away what the graphic to the right is in context to. I think it's one of my better graphics, especially considering I haven't worked in photoshop for over two months. A mixture of a lack of both photoshop and inspiration is the reasoning behind that. Anyhow, I can't wait for the final product (I'm about 50% done with the graphic as of now), and share it with you guys. I have been working on my technique and refining it a little with this graphic, which I think shows. I would show a little bit more of the graphic, but I want the finishing product to be stunning, and more so a surprise. Along with that, I'm planning on editing the layout for SA (the previous theme had some URL issues, so I had to revert back to something simple), so I should be busy for the rest of the month with that in mind. And moving, too, but you probably already knew that.

So, any opinions on what I've shown you guys so far? I'm glad to be back, and hopefully most are happy for my return. Just a warning though, I'm not going to be nearly as active as I was before, real life's finally starting to have some appeal in it, believe it or not.

this is a headshot for Beautifuloval, whom i think has one of the most gorgeous unique dolls on stardoll. i loved creating this headshot using her stunning features

i thought i'd do a kind of before and after shot - so here is before

again, the hair is done by me (quite an old style actually, i'd say mid 2013) but ana chose it from my archive and i think it suits her incredibly well. i love how this turned out, she looks very exotic and striking. i like the nose and the cheekbones the most.

i welcome your opinions! i seem to be the only one posting here anymore, i'd love if we had more designers on the tgv team

it feels good to be doing requests again, im so glad i decided to start them back up. here is my first completed request;

i loved doing this headshot, i kind of worked with a new approach and i think it turned out great. the hair is also by me.

i also got a new tablet recently so my work is running smoother than ever.

back in the game

Title of my post refers to when I actually started this graphic! That's dreadful I know - I have this tendency to name graphics with the date when I'm making them, I have even older ones than this, but I was browsing through my terribly messy graphics folder and found this unfinished one (I had literally popped the head on the picture and put a few colour swatches in) and decided I wanted to finish it this weekend! So I did =) 

I wasn't even sure who the model was, so had to do more searching of my files to find out who - her doll doesn't belong to the same person now and also looks different so I hope she doesn't mind! 

Anyway, I am actually pretty happy with this apart from the shoes and the bottom shade on the dress. The hairline is questionable, but I'm pleased with the topknot. Considering I've been out of the graphics loop for so long, I don't think it's too bad - much better than the last one I did for The Stardoll Lookbook header!
