{Insert Cliché Title Here}

Sticking with the cliché theme, how about we start off with an overused British (probably not at all used by our English neighbors) saying....

Ello Govna!

Ok...I'm slightly obsessed with that phrase--just slightly. If you count saying Ello Govna every five minutes slightly, then okay!

Anyhow, that's not what I wanted to post, though. If you remember my most recent post here, then you'll know I've been working on a graphic featuring Kasey (Martusia_!44). Nearly twenty-four hours later, and finally (!!) I'm finished! Oh, joy--

"Shut up already and post the graphic already!" Someone chirps.

If not the, then it's near one of my best graphics--up to date! I'm thrilled with the results, and honestly have nothing bad to say about it. Maybe I could have shaded the left leg more, but for the most part its not too shabby. My favorite part would probably have to be the jean jacket, it looks just so realistic!

And for those who are wondering, I made the background myself (excluding the buildings, that's from stardoll). I thought it was about time that I actually try and make a background, considering the majority of graphic artists use a filter or a stardoll background. I honestly can't recall someone making their own backgrounds, other than K.A.T.I.E.

I'm not too sure about the visible hand, it looks maybe a bit masculine? Or maybe it just looks small. I'm not sure. But for now, I don't plan on changing it. All in all, the hard work paid off. I'm pretty sure I spend half a day on the graphic in total...how sad I don't have a life (hehe).

Comments? Critique?

  1. Liking the new approach much more. I really like that you're no longer doing that "hd" thing or whatever you called it phase.

p.s. love the hair such an improvement

Close that skirt girl those legs are choppy/stubby. Kasey kind of looks like a bratz doll here. There isn't much neck & there is whole lot of head going on here. Your skin shading could use some work it makes that great jacket look lesser.

I don't think the skirt or legs look choppy-- maybe the shoes a tad, but other than that, can't say I understand...

  3. Lindsey...you got to the challenge before I even started the graphic :d Well done my girl :D I think the shading hasnt come upto the level. TBH I used to like your earlier shading. I like the one for dior and a H&M graphic If I am right. The jacket's a spot on. The purse could be improved. The Hair is AWESOME girl :D My favorites are the background , the jacket , hair, top .shoes and the skirt . In short everything except the skin :D

How did you make the jacket because every time I make one it looks like a blazer

Tbh, I'm not sure. I just kind of followed the overall quality of the jacket, using the shadows as my guide. Its hard to explain, I guess.

Why would I feel threatened by you? And actually, I did take your advice and lower the opacity of the shadow beneath the chin...

  14. Hi! just actually read the post.
You can't recall anyone else making their own background because you're a welite and you're never going to get anywhere xo

Recall means can't remember... and I don't like that you have the indecency to call me a welite. If I'm anything but honest, I could care less about being an elite or not. Sure, its nice to get attention for something you do, but I hardly believe in the concept of someone being better than another. If your trying to say your better than me, then go ahead. I couldn't give a s***.
And if you've made backgrounds before, and I haven't noticed, then I'm sorry, that was never my intention. Because that's just the type of person I am, I genuinely care about others feelings.

Now shut up, and go find someone else to criticize, because I don't give a f*** about some nasty critic who just wants to be cruel for no reason at all. I used to look up to you, but after this, you've lost whatever shred of respect I had towards you.

And finally--take this into consideration. You don't know the first thing about me, but decide to hurt my feelings just because? I would pity you, but you don't even deserve the half of that.

    2. I can be nasty. You can chose to take it however you like. But me being nasty makes you want to refine your skills right? Doesn't it just want to make you shut me up with your best work yet?
I may say you're bad (you're not, I'm just a bitch), but the concept of me doing so is to help you. I have seen improvement (not in the face like you said you tried to do. You must of misinterpreted) throughout your career.
Think of me like Simon Cowell. I'm going to be brutally honest. You're just the lucky one I picked to be critiqued like it's the very first time I saw your graphics. Don't take it to heart honey, I wish I had someone telling me I sucked.
If you'd like tips, which I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, add me as a friend and I will be more than happy to give you some pointers.

But I should note that my last comment was unnecessary. But if you would like my advice, I'd be more than happy to give it to you and you only. To be honest, it's not an offer to be missed. Kind of like the $2 Superstar subscription on Stardoll.
