Spoiler for HAUTE

Long story short-- there's going to be another issue of HAUTE this winter! Are you excited?

Anyhow, I really love how this came out, I really don't have any complaints! Obviously there's the background, I know it doesn't really fit, nor does the text though, but I wanted to keep it as close as I could to the theme for the Winter `12/`13 issue. What are your opinions on the graphic? Gosh, I think those legs are so sexy! (:O) Thanks to Nika on one of her graphics for helping me shade close to correct as I could ;)

  1. I am in love with the clothing so much, but that left leg is really bugging me! As an anatomist I can tell you that legs don't go like that under the knee. I think it just looks a bit weird, sorry =S And because the shading is that little bit darker I feel that my eyes are drawn to it more than anything else.

I was trying to go for a Winter theme, but I guess its not, although the overall issue of the Winter version of HAUTE isn't going to be 100% "winterized"

  7. I agree with the knee comments; if you look at the overall picture, it's the one thing that truly stands out, but not in a good way. It's awkward and bulbous, which is a real shame because it detracts from the other loveliness. :c (I also agree that it's not very wintery.)

For me, there are a few other things, too. The neck shading/jugular notch is too dark, the wrist on the right arm is ill-defined, and neither hand looks like it's holding the skirt (especially not from behind the fabric!).

However, I like that you've toned down your cheekbone shading and wow, sheer fabrics are the worst for shading so you've tackled that really nicely. Your hair technique is really interesting, too. Overall, it's amazing, it's just a shame about that one glaring problem!

  8. I love it, the clothing is beautiful but its definitely not winter clothing. I agree with everyone else about the knee, somethings not quite right, but overall good job :)

  9. Love it, it's very beautiful, but I have to agree with everyone else about the knee and that it's not very winter-themed. I also agree with Lana about the jugular notch, it's overshaded and doesn't look very odd. Nevertheless good job! I love the hair and - believe it or not - the feet!! :D

  11. I dont know why everyone says they dont like the knee, I love how you took a risk with it, and the shading is not too dark, its perfect and just like you said, the legs are so sexy. Maybe clothes are not that wintery, but they are perfectly shaded. Patrycja's face is just perfect and I love the tittle "Model Behaviour" I will surely love this issue, I am so into model stuff! :)
    Well done Lindsay!
    Kisses,
