First attempt using a graphic tablet

So my uncle gave me his old graphic tablet, saves me £50! So i'm trying to get used to it, but it's actually so much better than using my mouse! I started making a graphic using the tablet, its not the most amazing thing in the world i must admit but i thought i'd post it anyway.
All i've done so far is obviously the pose & then some basic skin shading and the skin shading has turned out a million times better than it has on any of my previous graphics
Anyway what do you guy think?

Ive added some more skin shading (it looked better on gimp:/) & shaded the clothes a little bit, i'm not going to bother making this graphic PERFECT because its just a practice using the graphic tablet. I also added a quick hairdo i did it in like 10 minutes so its quite rushed.

  1. Beautiful! I will have to wait until Christmas because I don't want to spend my money on it. :)

    1. Well I'm probably the worst person to save money but my uncle is computer obsessed which means when the latest thing comes out he HAS to buy it, which means he get rid of all the stuff for me;)

  2. The head looks quite blurry to me, I would suggest when taking a screenshot of it, to do so in the beauty parlor at a large size, so when you place it on your graphic you can resize it accordingly and it wont lose clarity(well, that's what I do and it's fine=D) - I'm also gonna suggest that you draw the neck yourself too.
Other than that, it's a decent start - keep up the good work and you'll improve in no time!

    Love K xxx

    1. I do take it from the beauty parlor.. .i think the reason it when blurry is because i did the body in a rather large size so when i shrunk the head down quite alot the clarity went abit funny. & It was like 1am, i didnt have the patience to do the neck:L but i usually do:L
      & thank you(:
