vacation graphic!

(click/drag into a new tab to enlarge)

I made this graphic when I was still on vacation, in case the title didn't make much sense to you... I know that the shading technique on her face differs from the body one, I just thought her face looked super odd with any darker shading.
I changed the face a bit so it looks like there are faces of two different singers blended together, can you guess who? lol
And yes, gotta love gradient backgrounds.

Comment below if you've got anything to say.

There is only one word to describe your graphic and that is...

    Amazing! No, that's not it...
    SPLENDID! Still can't describe it...
    INCREDI-SUPER-AWESOME-TASTIC! Yeah, that's better :D

  4. Wow, this is amazing! Just beautiful! I love the background too. Few people use the gradient background in their graphics as far as I can remember, and I haven't come on here for more than 2 weeks. haha.

Well, as I said this is beautiful but just saying (i.e: no criticism is meant), there are some things I don't like here to be honest. First, I wish she wasn't wearing this white-nudish colored top under her corset. It looks odd because usually people wear corsets without anything under them. Also, I like the face and I felt it blended in with the rest of the body but I wish her eyes were more detailed. I must say the hair and the shading on it if that's what you call it is wonderful but I wish the hair at the back (on her right) was flowing to the back like the hairs in front of it if that sounded reasonable, instead of the two groups of hair on her right interlocking together.

All in all, very wonderfully done!

    1. I'm sorry, but can I see a graphic you've made? You give so much criticism that you seem to know how to make a graphic. Can I see it?

    2. Dear NeonTiara, feel free to leave and feast your eyes on a graphic that you actually like.
She isn't even wearing a corset. It's a dress. And this is how it was on the reference picture. And any farther detailed eyes would make no sense because they're so small.
You can't just force someone to make their graphics suit your own likeness. Plus, you're talking from no experience. It all seems like you're commenting on people's graphics just to knock em down and convince em they suck. I think it's about time for you to become a graphic designer and show us all how are we supposed to do our graphics. You should consider asking Kimberly for a position as a ntgd judge, too.

      /rant over, xoxo

    5. @Kasey, I don't mean to criticize or be rude at all, and I am not a graphic designer. I never meant to act like one, I just mean to give my opinion as an admirer. Sorry if my comments on your graphics as well as Nika upset you, as this was not what I meant at all.
@Nika, I never said I was experienced and I never said I was a graphic designer. I'm so sorry if my comment sounded rude but I actually loved your graphic. I didn't mean any criticism at all, but I always like to look in detail. I was just saying my truthful opinion and pointing out the wrong things just to help you, from the view of only an admirer of the graphic not a critic or a professional, because I know I'm not professional in graphics. I never said these comments so that I could make as if I was one or so that I could let you change your graphics to my liking. However, I'm so sorry if my comments sounded rude or criticizing or upsetting. I only meant to say my honest opinion and maybe help but only as a follower of the blog and admirer of its graphics.

To everyone who I wrote long comments on their graphics or comments that seemed like they were there to criticize them, I'm sorry that I gave this impression. This was not my intention. I usually say that somewhere in my comments but I guess I write too much stuff about the graphic that my intention seems otherwise. I sincerely apologize for that.

Okay, I feel like I already asked this, but is it strange to have a strange urge/desire/whateverelseblahblah to keep on refreshing the Graphic Vault page like every 30 seconds?

  11. It's really amazing but I think you should blend the shading more so it looks more natural.

    1. I have a tablet, I used to blend super well. And then I came to the point where my graphics looked more like digital art than Stardoll graphics.
Plus to be honest, I prefer to shade this way. It looks...idk, cleaner?
And yeah...Make your own graphics and blend the shading on those, don't tell me what to do.
