My New Google Profile Picture

Here's a recent graphic I made in between projects. It's for my Google profile picture.
Give me your comments.

The graphic originally a bigger one, but I made it smaller.
The focal point is supposed to be the hair, but it isn't,really.
The hand could use some work, but that's about it.

UPDATED:
I re-did the face. Explanation:
My original edited face was not nearly as horrible as that one above. I only had about 5 minutes before I posted this, till I went out for dinner with some people.
I quickly attached this pre-edited face.
Here's the newer version:

The makeup is smokey-er, the cheek bones are exaggerated, but high. and the nose is nice. I did nothing to the lips because they are meant to be nude.
Better? or worst?
If you also notic, I returned to my original Idea of having the hair behind the shoulder. I think I like this one more than before.

Wow, this is amazing! There are a few things that look a bit off, but can be easily fixed. I feel like the parting section on the hair is very "thin" or not very long/tall if you get me. I'd also maybe define the face a bit more, it appears a bit blurry. Other than that, spot on! I love, love the hair, and the dress is superb!

    1. I would say the same about the hair parting, it looks as if some part of it was shaved off! Other than that, it's A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!

    1. Thank you:D I've been dabbling in hair tutorials recently, but I think I'll just stick to basic instructions. I have very basic tools used in making hair. It's merely a dodge(shadow) and burn(highlight) tools. I might post some directions on my blog.

    2. It's okay! Ah yeah, I was doing the same yesterday difference is I looked at a clothing tutorial saw a technique and tried parts of it out on hair and now i've improved heaps. I'll send you it later if you want to see? I think I've got loads better but thats just my opinion haha! Ah I don't use the Dodge and burn tools too be honest, I just use like black and white and just change the opacity<3

  5. The side of the hair looks a bit flat to me but overall it looks good :]

  6. YES. It is flat because it was originally going to be behind the shoulder. The face IS shaded, but photoshop screwed me over and I had to start again. By that time, I was leaving for dinner and quickly had to put on a new face. I only got to shade the nose. I fixed everything, and It looks so much better. the updated version is up there:)
